Today, Nimble Hill Brewing Company will be releasing our brand new sour called Oud Bruin, also known as a Flanders Brown. It did so well this last weekend at the Electric City Brewfest at Montage Mountain, we decided to release it a little earlier in our tasting room for our loyal drinkers. The tasting room will be open from 11am-7pm. Stay tuned in to find out what other sours will be coming soon!! Cheers!! -Oud Bruin (Old Brown) is a style of beer originating from the Flemish region of Belgium. The Dutch name refers to the long aging process, up to a year. It undergoes a secondary fermentation, which takes several weeks to a month, and is followed by bottle aging for several more months. The extended aging allows residual yeast and bacteria to develop a sour flavor characteristic. 7.3% ABV 0 IBU's -Vidal Sour Ale is aged in oak wine barrels then re-fermented on our Vidal grape skins. Light in color and body, with a distinct lightly sour taste, Dry finish and complex aroma, all derived from the wild native micro flora. 6.7% ABV. 0 IBU's
