This latest addition to our Mysteria series is another unique collaboration with Nimble Hill Vineyard and Winery.
It all started with our Midnight Fuggle Robust Porter being aged in used red wine barrels for 2 years. This year’s grape harvests offered us a rare opportunity to use our Cab Franc grapes skins freshly pressed for Rose wine.

We combined the Porter and Cab Franc skins for a week allowing the grape flavor and color to transform the porter into a remarkably complex and flavorful hybrid. After tasting this combination, we found the flavor and mouth feel, favored it to be none carbonated and drank as if it was a wine.

You will first notice the deepest ruby color followed by slight and quickly fading foam, the aroma is abundantly ripe grape juice, and the flavor follows suite with a perfect balance of sweet and tart. The finish and lasting flavor is where the porter kicks in, leaving dark chocolate impression on your palate.
