There is a wide variety of beer glassware available for you to choose from, and they each have their own unique characteristics. In fact, some glassware is designed specifically to help preserve the foam head of your beer, while others are designed to help enhance the colors of your brew. It’s important to remember that it’s more than just a glass that holds your beer; it’s a delivery mechanism that brings out the unique flavors, colors and aroma of your favorite beer. The type of glass you use has the ability to make or break your overall experience.Krugel's Georgetown Deli & Beer has its own collaboration brew w/ Nimble Hill Brewing Company -- a 6.5% ABV Double Chocolate Oatmeal Milk Stout called Three-O-Nina's "Udderly MOO--Licious Milk Stout"--Stop in today and have one of the Krü @ Krugel's pour you a draft or fill your growler with this outstanding craft beer. Also, Every Friday at Krugel's Georgetown Deli & Beer is Nimble Hill Taste Test Friday from 5pm-7pm. This summer Nimble Hill will introduce a New Summer Seasonal Release. This Berliner Weisse will be brewed traditionally with Lactobacillus for sourness and we will also incorporate fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and zest.
This style historically would have a raspberry or woodruff syrup add in the glass. We feel that the flavor of grapefruit will be an excellent addition to the sourness, which will create a dry, tart, and fruit forward session ale. 4.0% ABV 10 IBU's Will be released in early June. Cheers!! Hop Bottom IPA was named after a small town a few miles from our brewery? In the past this small town grew and sold hops for the local breweries in the area. Hops can still be found growing wildly in the area. In tribute to their rich history in the local brewing community we decided to call our IPA, Hop Bottom. It's a beautiful day to have Hop Bottom IPA. Cheers!!
Hop Bottom uses an intense amount of classic and cutting edge hops to create a smooth bitterness and powerful citrusy aroma. All perfectly balanced by a subtle malt character. 7% ABV 70 IBU's Today, Nimble Hill Brewing Company will be releasing our brand new sour called Oud Bruin, also known as a Flanders Brown. It did so well this last weekend at the Electric City Brewfest at Montage Mountain, we decided to release it a little earlier in our tasting room for our loyal drinkers. The tasting room will be open from 11am-7pm. Stay tuned in to find out what other sours will be coming soon!! Cheers!! -Oud Bruin (Old Brown) is a style of beer originating from the Flemish region of Belgium. The Dutch name refers to the long aging process, up to a year. It undergoes a secondary fermentation, which takes several weeks to a month, and is followed by bottle aging for several more months. The extended aging allows residual yeast and bacteria to develop a sour flavor characteristic. 7.3% ABV 0 IBU's -Vidal Sour Ale is aged in oak wine barrels then re-fermented on our Vidal grape skins. Light in color and body, with a distinct lightly sour taste, Dry finish and complex aroma, all derived from the wild native micro flora. 6.7% ABV. 0 IBU's |
